Create a Beacon

Overview​

This how-to article details the process of creating a new Beacon in BluSKY. Note that a corresponding Location should be created in advance, as creating a Beacon requires a Location to associate it to.

Instructions​

  1. Log in and navigate to Beacons. Main Menu-> Setup-> System Setup-> Beacons
  2. Use the BluCreateBtn.png buttonin the lower left side to create a new Beacon.BeaconCreate.png
  3. Select the System that the Beacon will be created in.
  4. Select a Facility under the System that the Beacon will be created in.
  5. Select the Location where the Beacon will be.
  6. Note: create the Location ahead of time by following this article.
  7. Specify a Name for the Beacon.
  8. Confirm changes with the saveBtn.png button.
