Overview
The Controller serves as the brain of the access control system and is also how BluSKY is able to make the connection to the physical world from the cloud.
List Definitions
| Name | Description |
|---|---|
| Name | The name given to the Controller |
| Description | Additional info pertaining to the controller. Often used to distinguish one controller from another in a configuration with multiple controllers. |
| MAC Address | The MAC Address is the Address of the physical device independent of the network |
| AC System | Name of the access control system. |
| Controller Type | The model of the controller. |
| IP Address | The network Address of the System. |
| IP Port | (Admin View Only) This field corresponds with the service instance being used |
| Service Instance | (Admin View Only) This is the environment the controller is pointing to |
| Deleted | If checked, entry is deleted from BluSKY. |
Search Criteria
| Name | Description |
|---|---|
| AC System | This field will specify an Access Control System for the search |
| Controller Type | This field will limit the results to a particular Controller Type |
| Search Text | This field is used to limit the number of rows listed in the list box below. To use simply type a string of characters or words. Please note you will only see those items you have the permission and access rights for. It is a good idea to search first, even when you are creating a new entry. |
| View | View will bring you to the view screen. Use this to look up information on existing entities and access Audit Info. |
| Submit | This button performs a search based on the criteria selected in the filter. |
| Reset | This button clears all fields in order to start a new search. |
